Trump cracks bizarre joke about what could ‘end’ his political career

President Donald Trump believes this could ultimately “end” his political career.

While speaking to reporters during his Cabinet meeting on Tuesday, Trump said he “saw a guy” earlier who is “fighting the hell” for transgender athletes to participate in women’s sports.

“‘You don’t understand, they’re human beings also.’ Well I agree they’re human beings, but you can’t have a 7-foot guy playing basketball with the women. Just one of those little problems in life,” Trump said.

“This guy’s screaming, ‘It’s another trap, and this is the worst of all.’ He said cause this is crime. Trump is saying he’s against crime, and they’re for crime. No, he’s going, it was funny,” he continued, appearing to move on to his federal D.C. takeover and suggestions of deploying the National Guard to other cities.

Trump suddenly turned to criticizing Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), who he called “poor, stupid, before saying the Democratic leader looks like he has “aged a hundred years.”

Trump continued: “And I don’t like getting into looks. You know, looks don’t mean anything, right?”

“When you’re in politics, looks don’t matter,” he added, with some laugher heard in the background.

Trump then pointed to a specific member of his administration: Attorney General Pam Bondi.

“Look at Pam. I would never say she’s beautiful because that’d be the end of my political career,” Trump said.

Trump went on to call Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker (D) a “slob.” His comments come as Pritzker has vowed to stop Trump from sending troops to Chicago — with the president claiming on Monday that the governor “ought to spend more time in the gym.”

Social media users jumped on his comments — which was met with mixed reactions.

“SHE IS BEAUTIFUL. Trump doesn’t hire uglies,” one user wrote on X, adding laughing emojis.

Another user said: “Dudes not even thinking about his marriage, isn’t that weird.”

“HE’S PROJECTING BECAUSE HE LOOKS LIKE S—!” a progressive account posted.

Others pointed to Bondi’s handling of the so-called Jeffrey Epstein files, which has provoked an uproar among the president’s base and critics, as well as members of Congress.

The meeting was the seventh of Trump’s second term.
