This 1971 Honda CT70 Trail is finished in Candy Sapphire Blue and was acquired by the seller in 2021. Subsequent work included replacing the vinyl seat, tires, control levers, cables, and more, along with refreshing the 72cc four-stroke single. Shifting is through a three-speed semi-automatic transmission, and features include an inverted fork, a Keihin carburetor, a chrome upswept exhaust, a kick starter, 10″ three-piece wheels, chrome fenders, twist-locking folding handlebars, and trail lighting. This CT70 Trail is now offered at no reserve with receipts and a California title in the seller’s name.
The hollow T-bone frame is finished in Candy Sapphire Blue, and color-matched components include the chain guard, fork covers, swingarm, and headlight bucket. Brightwork includes the engine guard, skid plate, and fenders, and additional equipment includes a headlight, a taillight, a lift handle, and a side stand. The black vinyl seat and shifter lever are replacement items.
The silver 10″ three-piece wheels were mounted with Bridgestone Trail Wing tires under current ownership. Suspension consists of an inverted fork with rubber gaiters as well as dual shocks mounted to the swingarm, and braking is handled by drums at both ends.
Twist-locking folding handlebars front a Nippon Seiki 50-mph speedometer that displays recommended shift points. The five-digit odometer shows 2k miles, approximately 50 of which were added under current ownership. The levers, control cables, and headlight switch are replacement items.
The 72cc four-stroke single features a Keihin carburetor, a kick starter, and a chrome upswept exhaust system with a replacement lower perforated heat shield. The engine was refreshed with a replacement piston, rings, intake and exhaust valves, intake gasket, battery, and more, as noted in the CHP Motorsports invoices in the gallery.

Power is sent to the rear wheel through a three-speed transmission with an automatic clutch and a drive chain.
